
A single dogwood blossom caught my eye on the way across campus this morning. This picture was made in
Hort Woods, a small forest remnant on campus pre-dating the existence of Penn State. This small collection of trees and plants sits on prime campus real estate and wonder how it has escaped development. I'm glad it has.

It's easy to miss. I know people who have been at Penn State for decades and don't know about Hort Woods. It's a great place for a stroll at lunchtime.
