I made this picture in the Life Sciences Building while waiting for a student to arrive for a portrait session. Research on tumor progression is led by associate professor, Adam Glick. One of the graduate students working in the lab appears in the above picture -- PhD candidate in the Immunology and Infectious Disease program Andrew Gunderson. He is studying the immune mechanisms of skin cancer.
After I finished my assignment I stopped in Dr. Glick's office to thank him for temporary loan of his space for photography. As the new editor of Penn State AgScience Magazine I sensed a story here. Look for that in some future issue of the magazine.
